Land based casinos have been well established in cities Las Vegas for many years but with the recent advent of online casinos a bulk of the land based business has shifted over to the internet. In some cases land based casinos also opened online casinos of their own in order to reach both markets. But recently a new trend has started: Well to do online casinos are starting to invest in and open land based casinos of their own. This new trend represents a new development in the online casino industry.
Recently, BetonSports.com, an online gambling company, announced their plans to expand into other gambling and casino related markets. The online gambling company is now set to focus on land based venues. BetonSports.com has worked primarily in the online and telephone betting industries, and now they are ready to open up to the land based casino market under the same name.
BentonSports.com plans to set up shop in Central and South America and they are aiming to open in these areas in the last quarter of this year. At the moment 1000 venues are planned to be for Central and South America to be opened within the next 3 years.

BentonSports.com also plans to step up if efforts in the online casino market by attaining other successful online casino businesses. In doing so they can expand into other areas of interest, broaden their brand name and open up to larger markets while increasing their own membership. They have their sights set on several geographical regions including Asia, Australia and Europe. Right now the majority of its business is North America. This new phenomenon of online casinos taking over land based casinos may be a new trend in the gambling industry.
